Beach Reclamation after erosion by water at Surfers Paradise

I walked the beach in the morning and was amazed to see how little sand there now was there at high tide. The waters come to the banks that have been eroded back to almost the road in places.

The beach was deserted. Only a handful of walkers and one man in the water.

The front patrol car told me to leave the beach as it was now being closed for the day.
