To celebrate your participation in the Brisbane Welcomes the World program, we are delighted to invite you to attend a Host Presentation Ceremony with the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk.

Brisbane Welcomes the World is a destination welcoming and wayfinding program. It’s about Brisbane building on its reputation as one of the friendliest cities in the world by making a world of difference to our visitors. We aim to provide our visitors with a personal connection to our destination, our culture and our events that will be cherished for years to come and leave them wanting to be part of it again.
Anyone within our local tourism industry who plays a role in welcoming and hosting visitors can participate. Participants may include those working in hotels, venues, transport, events, attractions, retail, restaurants, cafes and bars or volunteers with a passion and drive to make a difference.
The program is being delivered through face-to-face sessions and online modules. See our flexible packages and options outlined below, with FREE small group face-to-face sessions and module access offered prior to November 2014 as part of Brisbane’s G20 Opportunities Program.
