I went to photograph the sunrise but missed the early color as the sun was already above the horizon when I arrived.
I drove down to Sandy Beach where the sun was above the water and took some photos before the midges chased me back into my car, They are really about with a biting vengeance this morning, and last night too.
It was a perfect calm and serene morning.
