Bongaree is a suburb in Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] It is located on the western side of Bribie Island, adjacent to the Pumicestone Passage. At the 2006 census, the suburb recorded a population of 14,275 persons, with a median age of 55 years
