I went to see the Gala Performance of Queensland Ballet at QPAC at Southbank. The trains were on strike, so I went on the buses and it took 3 hours to get to QPAC for the show. Southbank was very beautiful and I walked down the path to where the Wheel was, and QPAC was opposite the Wheel.
Sadly, there was no photography permitted during the performance. They did provide a beautiful catalogue and a free Ballet Magazine, and there was a video of parts of the performance that I was able to view. The performance was beautiful… The afternoon show was mainly seniors and students and the dancers were from the group but the performance was still beautiful and the dancers professional and expressive and the costumes and lighting was magnificent.
