When I arrived at the Macleay Island Golf Club in the evening, I decided to walk the grounds as there were no Golfers playing at the time. After the rains, the grass was very green and the trees were beautiful. Everything was perfect, and I walked down to the end and back.

It is a 9 Hole Golf Range. There is a pond where ducks play. Its a pleasant spot to sit and take a breather too. There are relaxing areas almost at every hole, and the gardens are well maintained and very attractive. Its a beautiful course. Membership is $300 a year, and Visitors can plat for $15 a game. There are two bars, the outer one mainly attended by players, and the inner bar also feeds the Poker machines and the restaurant. I took some cash, and my camera and when I entered saw the COVID notice. I did not have my authorisation nor my phone, so took the Courtesy bus back home. I did enjoy the walk around the Grounds.
