Pats Park, Beelong Street Macleay Island, Queensland
Lovely park on Macleay island, used by the locals for picnics and swimming. Looks out over towards North Stradbroke island. The annual Dawn Service is held at this location by the local RSL Club.

The swimming Area is also adjacent to where you can park your canoe or craft and enjoy a barbecue at the designated areas where electric barbecues are provided as well as Tables and chairs, shelter and fresh water and toilet facilities.

This area was where the Oyster farms used to be and if you are lucky, you may find some oysters at low tide while walking the rocks and rock pools. The playground is great for children and there are plenty of short walks around the area rich in birdlife. The swimming area is very safe for children, and you can picnic on the grass or tables and relax while watching the children play on the playground or on the sandy shore.
