North Gorge in the Rain

We took the bus to Point Lookout intending to walk the Gorge if it wasn’t raining too hard. The first part of the walk is under a canopy of cottonwood trees, but it was also windy and the rain still came through the trees. We walked to the start of the Gorge that overlooked Main Beach, which was covered with white wave caps and huge waves. It was very windy and the rain started so reluctantly, after taking a few almost desperate photos, we went back.
