Blacksmith at Stradbroke Island

During the Arts Festival at Stradbroke Island.. I attended a workshop with Henk Dogger and learnt how to make a Hanging hook. There were 4 other people also learning and it was a very interesting experience.

Coke is used in the fire and there was a second heating box where we placed the hook while waiting for our turn. We all experienced the art of the blacksmith and were able to take home the completed hook
