This morning the sunrise was beautiful. Soft colors reflecting on a silent surface, there was barely a ripple on the water. It was perfectly still, like glass with soft and muted colors.

Sunrise Home Beach Stradbroke Island
The beach faces north-north-east toward Shag Rock, 1.5 km offshore. Sand waves change over time, so too does the nature of the shoreline, bars and surf.
